We have a cadre of some of the most elite professional athletes in the world who have attained accolades such as NFL MVP, Super Bowl MVP's, #1 MLB Overall Draft Pick, Olympic Gold Medalists, and Heisman Trophy Winners. Our elite coaching staff of performance trainers serve as mentors and ambassadors for athletic performance. We are dedicated to changing the lives of young athletes and being positive role-models. Our customized programs are geared towards helping athletes in the areas of strength, speed, agility & quickness training, core training, joint integrity, hand-eye coordination, reaction drills, flexibility, sports nutrition, and athlete life skills which includes leadership, accountability & goal setting.

 Jeff Guenzberger - Director of Business Development

Jeffrey Guenzburger was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. After playing four years of college football, with his last year playing at the University of Missouri, Jeff has spent the last eleven years here in San Diego influencing the marketplace. He began his career with renowned speed trainer, Doug Hix of Playfast Athletics, who has trained over 200 athletes in attaining their goal to play in the NFL. Jeff has both trained and worked with athletes of all ages and sports, including past and present NFL athletes, a Heisman Trophy Winner, and Olympic athletes. After nine years with Playfast, Jeff was then recruited to work with Buffini & Company, the number one business coaching company in North America and Canada. Jeff’s main role with Buffini was to assist top executives and help with their live events, the biggest one being MasterMind, which at one point played host to 5,000 people. In addition, he also volunteered his time as the Head Coach of a local 8-man football team, and within a short period of time Jeff helped turn the program into the top homeschool team in the United States.

Jeff also serves as the Assistant Chaplain for the San Diego Chargers. He feels his purpose in life is to impact and improve the lives of athletes and people. He enjoys skiing, going to the movies and spending time with his family and friends

Jeff King has been a strength and conditioning coach for the past 9 years. Jeff graduated from Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, California where he was a three-year Varsity letterman in basketball and led his team to the CIF title in 2001. Upon graduating from high school, Jeff enrolled at the University of California Davis. During his four years at Davis, Jeff completed a grueling internship as a student athletic trainer. Some of Jeff’s responsibilities included learning and applying the principles of injury prevention and sports rehabilitation with all the student athletes. While interning, Jeff was assigned as the head athletic trainer for the men’s water polo team. Jeff remained active while in college participating in intramural basketball and football. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Biology with an emphasis in Athletic Training in the summer of 2005.

In the spring of 2007, Jeff continued his educational journey by enrolling at San Diego State University to pursue a Master of Art degree in Kinesiology. While attending San Diego State, Jeff completed a manuscript study entitled “Comparing Preseason Frontal and Sagittal Plane Plyometric Programs on Vertical Jump Height in High School Basketball Players.” Not only was this study accepted as Jeff’s final project for graduation at San Diego State, but was also accepted for publication byThe Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, the official research journal of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Educators from the United States and Europe have since requested the study. Jeff completed his graduate studies and received his Master of Arts degree in May of 2009.

In the winter of 2013, after gaining thousands of hours of training youth athletes, Jeff co-authored the e-book entitled: Pigskin Prep: The Definitive Youth Football Training Program. The book is a comprehensive guide on how to properly prepare the youth football player for the physical and mental demand of the sport and how it can and should be a positive experience for all parties involved.

Currently, Jeff is the Director of Athletics at Fitness Quest 10 where he has worked for the past seven years. He oversees all athletic programs and individuals. Jeff specializes in long-term athletic development with kids ranging from pre-adolescence to high school. He has worked with many athletes at a variety of levels from grade school to professional. Additionally, he has created strength and conditioning programs for sports ranging from basketball to field hockey. Although Jeff specializes in working with athletes, Jeff also trains the general population. Jeff’s main goal in life is to educate, motivate, and inspire people of all ages about the importance of exercise and nutrition. His desire and enthusiasm to make an impact on peoples’ lives makes Jeff King a special trainer and someone who seeks to become better every

 Jesse Dietrick - Personal Trainer

Jesse is a sports performance coach from Pittsburgh, PA, and an exercise science graduate from John Carroll University (’13) in Cleveland, OH. While at John Carroll, Jesse was a four year member and two year captain of the school’s ACHA Men’s D1 Hockey Team, leading them to their first ever national tournament appearance in his senior year. While in college, Jesse completed an internship directing “Results Hockey Training” at The Training Centre in Pittsburgh.

After graduating in May of 2013, Jesse completed a three-month intensive summer internship here at Fitness Quest 10. After completing the internship, Jesse returned to Pittsburgh where he worked for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds as a strength and conditioning coach and was also a personal trainer at The Training Centre. Having committed himself to athletics and fitness since an early age, Jesse’s mission is to share his passion for fitness with athletes, and non-athletes alike. He is dedicated to motivating others to achieve their athletic goals, live a healthy lifestyle and to recognize all the rewards that it brings.
